Sunday School
Nursery - Birth to Pre-school age children listen to music and Bible stories
with Safe Sanctuary trained nursery volunteers and helpers. The nursery is
located on the main floor right outside the church office.
J-Train - Preschool - through 5th Grade - This is our children's Sunday
School program that meets in the Fellowship Hall following out
Contemporary Service. This high energy, action packed curriculum teaches
a core value and the importance of the Bible in a way that engages the
children. Music, games, visuals and drama are all tools used in teaching this
class.
6th-7th Grade Youth - Our younger Middle School class meets on the
third floor of our Education Building for interesting and engaging lessons
each Sunday. Teachers lead discussion and activities that instill Christian
basics.
8th - 12th Grade Youth - Our older youth meet in the Youth Room on
the third floor of the Educational Building. Discussions facilitated by our
teachers are based on a lesson plan that is emailed weekly so it is current
and up to date with the world around us and how our faith influences and
interacts with life.
Young Adult Class - This class meets sporadically through the year
during Sunday School. Classes are discussion based using DVD's or other
curriculum that apply our faith to the challenges of every day living. Check
the newsletter and bulletin for meeting dates. This class meets on the third
floor of the Educational Building.
Stewards of the Word - This class serves singles and couples
anywhere from their late 20's to their late 40's and maybe beyond. This
discussion based class takes Scripture as the starting point for growing
their faith and exploring God. This class meets in the Church Conference
Room near the Church Office.
Christian Fellowship Class - This class serves empty nester singles
and couples from their 50's to their 70's. This class uses the United
Methodist Quarterly as their Sunday School curriculum with interactive
discussion and sharing. This class meets in the Multi-purpose Room on the
bottom floor beyond the Fellowship Hall.
Bill Ingram Class - Our Older Adult class serves the seniors in our
church. They use the United Methodist Quarterly Sunday School curriculum.
Teachers lead lessons that follow various books of the Bible. This class
meets on the Main Floor near the Church Office..
